Katya Alekseeva - Personal Trainer
Katya is an ACE Certified and NAFC Certified Personal Trainer and a passionate climber. Her love for fitness developed at young age--she spent multiple hours ice skating outside in winter. Later on she joined her school's volleyball team and participated in countless competitions. After sustaining a serious injury that required a year-long break from training, she realized that learning proper form and functional training should be at the base of all exercise programs. Katya loves creating individualized climbing-specific workouts, weightlifting programs for all levels of fitness and preventative exercise programs. She believes that exercise is the best medicine against depression, anxiety and low self-esteem, and is appropriate for absolutely everyone. She is currently pursuing a career in physical therapy and is on the way to earning a Zumba instructor certificate.
