Advanced Ice Climbing

Earth Trek’s Advanced Ice Climbing Seminar is designed for intermediate to advanced ice climbers looking to explore the world of multi-pitch ice climbing. This three day course will push participants to new heights in the ever changing Adirondacks environment, while also exploring multi-pitch ice systems and techniques. This could include but is not limited to: ice anchor set-ups, ice protection placement basics, rappel situations and/or other descent options, and terrain navigation on longer climbing objectives.

Cost includes guides, group and personal climbing gear including axes, boots, and crampons. Participants are responsible for travel, food, lodging.

Participants must provide clothing and technical apparel appropriate for harsh winter environments. Gear list available in trip packet.
