Summer Climbing Day Camp near Denver, Colorado
New for 2015 – Five Day Summer Climbing Camp for Kids with Indoor and Outdoor Rock Climbing!
A 5-day indoor and outdoor summer rock climbing camp for kids age 9-13. Your child’s development includes the skills of belaying and tying into the rope and the movement and problem solving skills needed in climbing. Participants meet daily at Earth Treks Climbing Center in Golden Colorado. Day one includes team building challenges, belay skills instruction, and climbing. By day two they’ll be ready to test their mettle on more challenging climbs. Day 3 and 4 are spent climbing outdoors at Alderfer / Three Sisters Park near Evergreen Colorado. The week will culminate at the gym with a friendly Climbers’ Olympics on Friday with a pizza lunch. There are no climbing prerequisites, but Friday Nite Rox, Junior Climbing Club, and Recreational Climbing Club are all great primers.
Monday, Tuesday, & Friday – 9am-3pm
Wednesday & Thursday – 8am-4pm
