 Teen Rox Expedition
This advanced camp for teens is an excellent opportunity to add excitement, adventure, and fun to the summer.
The expedition will set off on a Monday at Earth Treks' Climbing Center in Columbia, MD, where the group will travel by van to Coopers Rock, WV. Coopers Rock is the perfect place for the team to hone their climbing abilities and learn the technical skills needed for the challenging terrain at Seneca Rocks, WV. Wednesday afternoon the group will travel to Seneca Rocks to be awed by its 300-foot fin of quartzite stone. Participants will climb classic top rope and multi-pitch routes, including one that will reach the dramatic knife edge summit of the south peak. The team will be back in Columbia Friday evening. This course will emphasize all aspects of basic through intermediate, single and multi-pitch rock climbing and rappelling, as well as camp craft, cooking, and leadership.
