Climbing ice was once an activity reserved for lunatics and
masochists. Ice climbers were the people our parents warned us about.
Fortunately, modern gear and clothing have transformed what was once a brutal
experience into something the rest of us can enjoy. Ice climbing is a blast and Earth Treks' ice climbng seminars are a great way to get in on the fun! Your arms and calves will surely be aching by the end of the course, but the thrill of climbing a sheet of ice in a spectacular mountain environment will be well worth the hard work.
Earth Treks' ice climbing seminars are taught in the Adirondacks of New York near Lake Placid. The "Dacks" boasts exceptional single and multi-pitch climbing, stunning scenery, and reliable ice climbing conditions.
